This seemingly rusted and aged Lexus LC500 will surprise you. At first glance, one might think that this car has been long forgotten by its owner. However, a peek under the hood reveals a different story.
Recently, images of a uniquely styled Lexus LC500 have been circulating on social media, capturing the attention of many. The car appears to be heavily rusted and deteriorated, with possible signs of collision damage.
However, upon closer inspection, one can notice that the mirror caps and wheels appear relatively new. Believe it or not, this aged appearance is actually a clever decal wrap! When the online community saw the engine and interior photos, they realized they had been tricked. The owner of this car certainly has a bold sense of style, choosing to give their luxury coupe a one-of-a-kind look.
The Lexus LC500 is built on the brand’s GA-L platform, designed for front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicles with a low center of gravity. Its design language, known as L-Finesse, features bold and decisive lines in the LED headlights, grille, and rear end. The body has sleek, speedster-inspired aerodynamic curves.
Inside the cabin, the Lexus LC500 boasts premium leather upholstery, a 10.3-inch infotainment system, and a touchpad controller. The center console and dashboard are crafted by Lexus’ renowned Takumi artisans.
Under the hood, the Lexus LC500 is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 471 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 270 km/h.
