The Lynk & Co Z10: A Sleek and Tech-Savvy Competitor to the Tesla Model Y
Following its debut on June 18, the all-electric Lynk & Co Z10 sedan has arrived at dealerships ahead of its market launch. According to the plan, the Z10 will be delivered to customers starting in September, with a starting price of 200,000 Chinese yuan (approximately 700 million VND).
The Z10 boasts impressive dimensions, with a length of 5,028 mm, a width of 1,966 mm, a height of 1,468 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,005 mm. Inspired by the “The Next Day” concept, this car sports a fastback-style design, with sleek and streamlined exterior lines, resulting in an impressive drag coefficient of Cd = 0.0198.
The front of the car features a striking headlight design resembling a bird of prey’s claw, along with vertical daytime running lights and trendy hidden door handles. At the rear, the Z10 sports a full-width taillight design similar to the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P plug-in hybrid sedan.
Inside, the Z10’s cabin is a study in minimalist design, with almost no physical buttons or switches aside from those on the steering wheel and doors. It features a 15.4-inch central touchscreen display, a head-up display, and seats with cooling, heating, and massage functions.
Under the hood, the Lynk & Co Z10 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, Lidar sensors, and an Nvidia Orin-X chip for advanced driver-assistance systems. The car offers two powertrain options: a standard single-motor setup producing 415 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, and a high-performance dual-motor setup delivering a combined 777 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque, resulting in a blistering 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 3.3 seconds.
Depending on the configuration, the Z10 offers a range of 675 to 750 kilometers on a single charge, along with fast-charging capabilities that allow it to gain 573 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes.
