According to some sources, the D-segment MG7 sedan has been imported to Vietnam and is in the process of completing the necessary paperwork.
The car is expected to be launched in the Vietnamese market by the end of August 2024. Dealers are currently taking reservations for this model.
MG7 is expected to be priced between 700 and 800 million VND, according to dealer estimates. According to information shared by the dealer, the MG7 imported to Vietnam will be available in two versions: STD and LUX, similar to the smaller MG5. In addition to equipment differences, these two versions may have different engines.
Specifically, the STD version is likely to be equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. This configuration generates a maximum output of 183 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm.
On the other hand, the LUX version might feature a 2.0L turbocharged engine with specifications of 254 horsepower and 405 Nm. The drive system on this variant remains front-wheel drive but includes an electronic differential lock and electronically controlled suspension, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission from ZF.
Both versions offer four driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and X-MODE.
Launched globally in 2022, the MG7 has dimensions of 4,884 mm in length, 1,889 mm in width, 1,447 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,778 mm.
MG7 boasts a sporty, robust, and modern design. The front of the car impresses with its sharp triangular-shaped LED headlights, featuring dual LED strips inside, along with side air intakes that enhance the sporty look. Depending on the configuration, the car will be fitted with 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, paired with 225/50 or 245/40 tires.
The rear of the car stands out with its connected LED taillights, a small rear spoiler integrated into the trunk lid, and four oval exhaust pipes divided evenly on both sides. The highest-end version will feature a black logo on the side of the car, an active rear spoiler, and an exclusive British Green exterior paint color.
In terms of interior, the MG7 offers a 5-seat configuration. The cabin space looks modern and luxurious, comparable to German luxury cars, with a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a prominent 12.3-inch central control display on the dashboard.
This D-segment sedan is also equipped with a Topload glass roof, an intelligent Zebra Luoshen 8155 cockpit system, advanced MG PILOT 2.0 intelligent driving assistance, and a BOSE Premium 9-speaker audio system…
