VinFast VF 3: Unveiling Impressive Energy Efficiency

According to data from the Vietnam Registry, the VinFast VF 3 boasts an impressive energy consumption rate of 83.3 Wh/km, making it the most energy-efficient electric vehicle in Vietnam. Following closely behind is the Wuling Mini EV, with a consumption rate of 88 Wh/km.

Since the opening of reservations on May 13, there have been numerous indications that the vehicles are ready for delivery to pioneering customers.

The VinFast VF 3 is designed based on extensive research into the needs and travel habits of Vietnamese people. With dimensions of 3,114 x 1,673 x 1,567 mm (length x width x height), it is the smallest VinFast model to date.

The VF 3’s exterior stands out with its bold geometric shapes and distinct character lines that run from front to back. Despite its compact design, the vehicle has a tall and robust stance, thanks to its impressive 16-inch alloy wheels, which also provide a high ground clearance, making it capable of navigating various terrain conditions.

Even with its small stature, the VinFast VF 3 offers a spacious 5-seat interior, designed with a minimalist aesthetic and packed with essential smart features for a comfortable and convenient driving experience.

The VF 3 also comes equipped with a range of entertainment and convenience features to meet the daily needs of urban dwellers, including a 10-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, ensuring seamless connectivity and entertainment for both the driver and passengers. The rear seats can be fully folded down to increase cargo space (up to 550L), making the VF 3 versatile for various trips.

Powering the VF 3 is an electric motor that delivers 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 100 km/h when the battery charge is above 50%. On a single charge, it offers a range of approximately 210 km based on the NEDC standard. Furthermore, fast charging can take the battery from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes.

In terms of safety, the VF 3 is equipped with anti-lock brakes, traction control, hill-start assist, and a driver-side airbag.

The VF 3 is priced competitively, starting at 240 million VND with a battery lease option or 322 million VND with a battery purchase.
