A Stunning Supercar: Entrepreneur Hoang Kim Khanh’s Ferrari 488 Pista Spider
The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, a breathtaking supercar, was imported to Vietnam in late 2020 through a private company. It is believed that this exquisite vehicle was a gift from entrepreneur Hoang Kim Khanh to his wife.
When it first joined the collection of the beauty industry power couple, this convertible supercar bore the license plate 51H-395.44. However, during a recent parade celebrating the 26th anniversary of their beauty institute, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider was spotted with a new license plate: 51K-858.68. At first glance, this number may not seem extraordinary. Nonetheless, when interpreted numerically, it conveys a message of prosperity and good fortune.
This particular Ferrari 488 Pista Spider boasts a striking Rosso Corsa red exterior, a signature color of the renowned Italian “prancing horse” marque. Adorning the car are bold black stripes running along the hood and the entrepreneur Hoang Kim Khanh’s signature on the front lighting cluster.
According to the manufacturer, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider underwent significant refinements compared to the original 488. Firstly, its aerodynamic efficiency was improved by over 20%. To achieve this, Ferrari’s engineers drew inspiration from the 488 Challenge and 488 GTE racecars, incorporating new elements to make the 488 Pista faster and more powerful.
Despite extensive modifications and additional components, the engine of the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider is 18kg lighter than its predecessor. However, the conversion from a fixed hardtop to a retractable roof resulted in a weight increase of 91kg.
The convertible variant of the Ferrari 488 Pista is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine, delivering an impressive 710 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. This powerhouse can propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.85 seconds.
