According to VAMA, the total market sales volume in June 2024 reached 26,575 units, a 3% increase compared to May 2024.

Specifically, the sales volume of domestically assembled vehicles reached 12,962 units, an 8% increase compared to the previous month, while the sales volume of completely built-up imported vehicles was 13,613 units, a 1% decrease compared to the previous month.

Below are the top 10 models with the highest sales in June 2024:

Ford Ranger: 1,442 units

The American pickup truck surprisingly topped the chart in June 2024 with 1,442 units sold. In the first six months of 2024, Ford delivered 7,743 Ranger vehicles to consumers.

Currently, the Ford Ranger is available in Vietnam with seven variants, with prices ranging from VND 665 million to VND 1.039 billion.

Mazda CX-5: 1,259 units

Ranking second in the top 10 best-selling vehicles in June was the Mazda CX-5 mid-size crossover, with 1,259 units sold. Cumulatively, in the first six months of 2024, the sales volume of the Mazda CX-5 reached 5,270 units.

Currently, the vehicle is available in seven variants, with prices ranging from VND 749 million to VND 979 million.

Mitsubishi Xpander: 1,236 units

The Mitsubishi Xpander dropped two places to third position in the ranking. This model recorded sales of 1,236 units. In the past six months, Xpander has delivered 7,773 vehicles to Vietnamese consumers.

Currently, the Mitsubishi Xpander is available in Vietnam with four variants: MT, AT, AT Premium, and Xpander Cross, with listed prices ranging from VND 560 million to VND 698 million.

Hyundai Accent: 968 units

In June 2024, the Hyundai Accent continued to maintain its position in the Top 10 best-selling vehicles. Specifically, the Hyundai-branded sedan achieved sales of 968 units. Cumulatively, in the first six months, 4,988 Hyundai Accent vehicles were delivered to Vietnamese consumers.

Currently, the Hyundai Accent is available in four variants, with prices ranging from VND 439 million to VND 569 million.

Mitsubishi Xforce: 948 units

The Mitsubishi Xforce, a B-SUV model, sold 948 units in June 2024, an increase of 146 units compared to the previous month. Cumulatively, in the first six months of 2024, the sales volume of the Mitsubishi Xforce reached 3,890 units.

Currently, the vehicle is imported from Indonesia to Vietnam with four variants: GLX, Exceed, Premium, and Ultimate, with prices ranging from VND 599 million to VND 705 million.

Ford Everest: 830 units

With 830 units sold in June, the Ford Everest moved up one position compared to May 2024, an increase of 64 units from the previous month. In total, in the first six months of 2024, Ford Vietnam sold 4,442 Everest vehicles.

Currently, the Everest is available in Vietnam with six variants, with prices ranging from VND 1.099 billion to VND 1.545 billion.

Toyota Yaris Cross: 811 units

At the end of June, the Toyota Yaris Cross recorded sales of 811 units, a decrease of 91 units compared to May 2024. Cumulatively, in the first six months, Toyota Vietnam sold a total of 3,750 Yaris Cross vehicles.

Currently, the Toyota Yaris Cross is available in Vietnam with two variants, with prices ranging from VND 650 million to VND 765 million.

Toyota Vios: 769 units

In June 2024, the Toyota Vios sold 769 units. As a result, this “national” model was outperformed by its rival, the Hyundai Accent. The cumulative sales volume of the Vios in the first six months was 4,215 units.

Currently, the Toyota Vios is available in Vietnam with three variants, with prices ranging from VND 458 million to VND 545 million.

Ford Territory: 766 units

Ranking ninth in the chart was the Ford Territory, with 748 units delivered to customers in June, a 39% increase compared to the previous month. Since January 2023, this is one of the rare occasions that the Territory has made it into the top 10 best-selling vehicles of the month.

Currently, the Ford Territory is available in three variants, with prices ranging from VND 799 million to VND 929 million.

Hyundai Creta: 686 units

Once the best-selling B-SUV model in the Vietnamese automobile market in 2023, with sales of 10,719 units, the Hyundai Creta has experienced fluctuating sales in 2024.

In June 2024, the model recorded sales of 686 units, a 62.5% increase compared to the previous month. This is the first time in 2024 that this B-SUV has made it into the top 10 best-selling vehicles of the month.

Cumulatively, in the first six months, Hyundai delivered a total of 2,814 Creta vehicles to consumers, a 37% decrease compared to the same period last year.
