A tragic sight has befallen a Ferrari Purosangue super SUV as it was recently spotted in a Middle Eastern “supercar graveyard,” a place known for housing crashed and abandoned exotic cars.

This Ferrari Purosangue was left to the elements, covered in dust and debris. At first glance, the vehicle doesn’t seem to have extensive exterior damage, with only the airbag deployed, suggesting a minor collision. However, its owner chose to discard it, leaving many to lament its fate.

Introduced in September 2022, the Purosangue marked a historic turning point for the Prancing Horse brand as it ventured into the realm of super-sporty SUVs. The name Purosangue translates to “pure blood” in Italian, reflecting Ferrari’s commitment to combining speed, exhilarating handling, and versatility—the very DNA of the marque.

Despite its SUV silhouette, the Ferrari Purosangue boasts aerodynamic styling with sleek lines and curves. The front end borrows design cues from the SF90 Stradale, featuring a two-tier lighting setup and a low-mounted grille. Its unique reverse-opening doors echo the design language of Rolls-Royce models.

Inside, the SUV showcases a dual-cockpit dashboard design, eschewing a central infotainment touchscreen in favor of separate screens for the driver and passenger.

Under the hood, the Purosangue is powered by a mighty 6.5L V12 engine mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission from Magna Powertrain. This potent combination generates 715 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque, propelling the super SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 310 km/h.

With this engine, the Purosangue surpasses the Aston Martin DBX 707 to become the most powerful SUV in the world.

Additionally, the Ferrari Purosangue is equipped with an upgraded driver-assistance system, including hill descent control and active roll-over protection. However, its ground clearance of just 183 mm suggests that off-road capabilities may be limited.

At its launch, this SUV carried a starting price tag of £313,120 (approximately 10.3 billion VND).
