The MG7 Trophy has arrived in Vietnam ahead of its anticipated launch event scheduled for August.

According to dealership information, the MG7 sedan has been imported to Vietnam and is undergoing the necessary paperwork. Advisors have revealed that the car will be launched in the Vietnamese market by the end of August 2024. Dealers are now accepting reservations for this model.

Consultants further shared that the first MG7 to arrive is the Trophy version, which will be the highest specification available in the Vietnamese market. The STD standard version will be positioned below this model.

The MG7 Trophy is equipped with a 2.0L engine that delivers 254 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed AT transmission. Compared to competitors in the segment, such as the Camry, Mazda6, or K5, this engine configuration surpasses them all. Meanwhile, the standard version is fitted with a 1.5L engine producing 183 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, coupled with a 7-speed DCT.

The MG7 boasts a sporty, robust, and modern design. The front of the car impresses with its sharp triangular-shaped headlights, featuring dual LED strips on the inside, along with side air intakes in the front bumper for a sportier look. Depending on the configuration, the car will be fitted with 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, paired with 225/50 or 245/40 tires.

The rear of the car stands out with its connected LED taillights, a small integrated trunk spoiler, and four oval exhaust pipes evenly split on both sides. The highest-spec version will feature a black logo on the side of the car, an active rear spoiler, and an exclusive British Green exterior color.

In terms of interior, the MG7 offers a 5-seat configuration. The cabin space exudes modernity and luxury, rivaling German luxury cars. It features a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a prominent 12.3-inch central control touchscreen on the dashboard.

This D-segment sedan also comes equipped with a Topload glass roof, an intelligent Zebra Luoshen 8155 cockpit system, advanced MG PILOT 2.0 intelligent driving assistance, and a BOSE Premium 9-speaker audio system…

Dealers have announced an expected price range of 700 to 800 million VND for the MG7. Advisors shared that early depositors will receive cash benefits of up to 10 million VND and a voucher for 5 free maintenance services.
