In the world of JDM, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is an iconic car that has endured for over two decades since its first generation debuted in 1992. This vehicle has made numerous appearances in the popular Fast and Furious film series. The car featured here is the tenth generation of Mitsubishi Lancer’s high-performance line. It was previously owned by the famous tycoon Cuong “Dollar.”
In terms of design, the tenth-generation Lancer Evolution features a more aggressive and rugged look compared to the standard Lancer. It sports three air vents on the hood and one on the side. The front license plate is positioned asymmetrically to enhance aerodynamics. The front end stands out with a large, black trapezoidal grille and an offset license plate placement, characteristic of the Lancer Evolution.
The body of the car is made of aluminum to reduce weight. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has a lightweight construction, ranging from 1,420 kg to 1,600 kg depending on the version. This high-performance sedan is equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in a dark finish, bearing the model name RS05 and manufactured by the renowned Japanese brand Enkei. Additionally, this Lancer Evolution X features high-performance Brembo brakes with 13.8-inch front and 13-inch rear discs.
At the rear, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X boasts sleek and intricately designed halogen taillights. Below, a black rear bumper and symmetrically placed Akrapovic exhaust tips on both sides enhance the car’s visual appeal and deliver an exhilarating sound.
Under the hood, the original Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I4 gasoline engine with 16 valves, generating an impressive 303 horsepower and 413 Nm of maximum torque. This potent powertrain is paired with a manual transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
