Nissan dealers have hinted that the 2024 Nissan Almera is expected to arrive in Vietnam as early as August or September this year. Some Nissan dealerships in Hanoi have started taking reservations for this model.

The 2024 Nissan Almera will continue to be imported from Thailand. This mid-life cycle upgrade sees a number of design tweaks, especially on the front grille.

The V-motion design on the Nissan Almera has been stylized with a trapezoidal center section painted black, and the side grilles are gloss-finished. The latest Nissan logo also adorns the 2024 Almera.

Additionally, the new model features redesigned alloy wheels. The standard version comes with 15-inch steel wheels with silver covers, while the higher-spec variant sports a more dynamic two-tone 16-inch alloy wheel design.

The Nissan Almera 2024 in Thailand now offers a new exterior color, Grey Sky Pearl, which can change hue depending on the surrounding light. In low light conditions, it appears purple, but under full sunlight, it transforms into a blue shade.

Regarding the interior, the cabin layout remains largely unchanged. However, the standard model will offer Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity when customers purchase the S Plus package. The SV version will feature a center armrest and a wireless charging tray. The top-of-the-line SR variant boasts an upgraded 8-inch center display, front-seat heating, and remote engine start, among other enhancements.

Under the hood, the Nissan Almera 2024 is powered by a turbocharged 1.0L 3-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the wheels through an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission, resulting in a fuel efficiency of 23.3 km/l (approximately 4.29 liters/100 km).

In terms of safety features, the 2024 Nissan Almera is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), automatic headlight assist (HBA), lane departure warning (LDW), and the complete Nissan 360 Safety Shield technology package on the high-end version.

Last June, three 2024 Nissan Almeras were spotted at an emissions testing center in Hanoi. These are likely to be the three variants that will be introduced to the Vietnamese market.

Currently, the Nissan Almera is available in Vietnam in two versions, priced at 539 million and 595 million VND, respectively.
