Recently, Vietnamese tycoon Minh “Nhựa” shared a photo of himself with the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, captioning it: “When the manufacturer says yes, how can I say no?”
This has sparked speculations among the public that the Italian carmaker has taken notice of Minh “Nhựa” and included him on their exclusive customer list.
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, of which only 112 units were produced globally, has already found its owners. It remains unclear whether Minh “Nhựa” is among the 112 owners of this limited-edition supercar.
Some believe that Lamborghini is planning to develop a Countach LPI 800-4 Roadster convertible variant and that Minh “Nhựa” has been invited to purchase this model.
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a supercar based on the Lamborghini Aventador, inspired by the design of the legendary Countach from the 1970s.
The front of the car features trapezoidal headlights, a flat nose, and air intakes reminiscent of the Countach LP500 prototype designed by Marcello Gandini in 1971. Meanwhile, the side air intakes pay homage to the Countach LP400 introduced in 1974, and the iconic scissor doors complete the look.
The hexagonal wheel arches house 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, evoking the “telephone dial” style of the 1980s. Carbon-ceramic brakes and Pirelli P Zero Corsa sports tires come standard.
At the rear, the LED taillights are designed with three hexagons, borrowed from the Sián, along with a carbon fiber diffuser and four tailpipes. The short rear bumper exposes more of the tire surface.
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is powered by a mild hybrid powertrain, consisting of a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 769 horsepower. Combined with a 48 V electric motor, the total output reaches 803 horsepower.
This supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 8.6 seconds, with a top speed of 355 km/h.
