According to some sources, the new-generation Kia Seltos may be introduced as early as August 2025. The vehicle will be produced at the Kia Autoland Gwangju plant in South Korea.

Kia Seltos was first introduced in 2019, so a refresh in 2025 would align with the typical 6-7 year product development cycle.

Rumors suggest that the 2025 Seltos will feature a hybrid version and discontinue the diesel engine, as the majority of sales currently come from gasoline engines.

The 2025 Seltos is expected to be built on an improved version of the old platform (SP2 to SP3), which will not only enhance safety but also provide a foundation for electrification.

The hybrid system of the Kia Seltos 2025 is expected to share similarities with the Hyundai Kona Hybrid or Kia Niro. If true, the vehicle will be equipped with a 1.6L engine combined with an electric motor, producing 141 horsepower.

Additionally, according to some South Korean media outlets, Kia will equip the Seltos 2025 with an electronic all-wheel drive system (E-AWD) to enhance its appeal in markets like Europe. This feature will elevate the driving experience of the compact CUV.

While exterior and interior details of the Kia Seltos 2025 remain undisclosed, consumers anticipate modern amenities and the use of more environmentally friendly, premium materials.
