Social media was abuzz recently with images of two white vehicles, a Kia Sorento and a Lexus LX600, both sporting the same distinctive license plate: 30H-777.77. This unusual occurrence sparked lively discussions online, with some speculating that one of the vehicles might be using a fake plate.

The photos, taken on Nguyen Khoai Dyke in Hanoi, show the two vehicles with the unique license plate, 30H-777.77, traveling together, adding fuel to the online discussions.

However, since August 15, 2023, a new policy has been implemented that allows for license plate transfers. This means that if you owned a vehicle with a desirable license plate before this date, you could transfer the plate to a newly purchased vehicle, keeping your lucky or preferred number combination. This has been a welcome change for many, as it means they don’t have to give up their favorite license plate when selling a car.

It has been revealed that the owner of the Kia Sorento decided to sell the vehicle but keep the coveted license plate, 30H-777.77. They then registered this plate to their newly purchased luxury SUV, the Lexus LX600. The installation of the license plate with five consecutive 7s on the Lexus LX600 has caught the attention of many, as it seems to be a perfect match.

In numerology, license plates with five consecutive numbers from 1 to 9 are considered special. In this case, the number 7 is repeated five times in a row in the license plate, excluding the provincial prefix. According to popular belief, the number 7 is associated with loss and misfortune. Therefore, a license plate with five 7s is not considered lucky, as it could bring about unfortunate events, loss of wealth, and even affect other supposedly lucky numbers like 6, 8, and 9, turning them into unlucky combinations like 78 (“loss and misfortune”), 76 (“loss of luck”), and 79 (“god of wealth” but also associated with “loss of longevity”).

Additionally, the number 7 corresponds to the seventh month of the lunar calendar, known as “ghost month” in Vietnamese culture, a time when business and other activities are considered inauspicious. However, in Buddhism, the number 7 holds a significant place, especially in the context of family, as evidenced by the celebration of Vu Lan Bao Hieu on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, a day dedicated to honoring parents and ancestors.

The Lexus LX600 is a luxury SUV, often referred to as a “land cruiser.” In Vietnam, it is available in three versions, with the VIP edition being the most expensive, priced at 9.61 billion VND. The VIP version features a unique four-seat configuration, with two independent rear seats and an array of exclusive features, including individual rear-seat climate controls, heated and cooled seats, reading lights, entertainment screens, and more, catering to the needs of high-profile passengers.

The Lexus LX600 VIP also boasts a distinct interior, with premium leather upholstery and a pair of 7-inch screens below a 12.3-inch central display. The vehicle is equipped with a 25-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, delivering an immersive auditory experience.

In terms of design, the Lexus LX600’s fourth-generation model retains the iconic large spindle grille but with a new horizontal bar design, creating a bold and imposing appearance. The use of a new lightweight frame and aluminum doors has resulted in a weight reduction of 200 kg compared to its predecessor.

Under the hood, the Lexus LX600 is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 409 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and offers various driving modes, including Normal, ECO, Comfort, Sport S, Sport S+, and Customize, ensuring a dynamic and responsive driving experience.
