Audi has unveiled an updated version of its R8 V10 Spyder Type 4S, first introduced in 2018, with a sportier and more powerful design. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that two of these facelifted models arrived in Vietnam.
According to sources, this privately imported Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift 2022 belongs to a Saigon-based collector known for his impressive collection of supercars, most of which bear the distinctive number plate series ending in quadruple 8. The Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift 2022 featured here is no exception, bearing the supercar-worthy license plate 51F-588.88.
The supercar boasts a sleek black exterior. Compared to its predecessor, the facelifted Audi R8 V10 Spyder features a more aggressively styled front end with additional air intakes, enhancing cooling and aerodynamic performance. The convertible is fitted with a set of contrasting two-tone grey and black five-spoke alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift showcases a continuous mesh grille across the bumper. Below, you’ll find symmetrically placed oval exhaust tips. To further enhance the aerodynamics, the rear diffuser has been enlarged.
The Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift is equipped with a red fabric roof that can be effortlessly raised or lowered in just 14 to 18 seconds via a button on the key fob, even while the car is in motion, up to speeds of 50 km/h.
Inside, the cabin of this Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift is adorned with black and red leather upholstery. The three-spoke sports steering wheel integrates multiple buttons, while the central infotainment screen has been removed, with all information displayed on the large screen behind the wheel.
In terms of performance, the Audi R8 V10 Spyder Facelift is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 602 horsepower and 559 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive. This German supercar can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 327 km/h.
