Toyota Unveils the Hyper-F Concept: An Extreme Racing-Inspired SUV

At the Bangkok Auto Salon 2024 in Thailand, Toyota unveiled the Hyper-F, a sports SUV concept based on the popular Fortuner. With extreme racing-inspired aesthetics, the Hyper-F instantly captured the attention of enthusiasts and media alike.

The front end boasts a large grille, widened air intakes, hood scoops, and an aggressive front splitter. The headlight housings have been repainted in a striking yellow, adding a unique touch. Along the sides, you’ll find multi-spoke silver wheels, paired with sports disc brakes, Dunlop tires, and extended wheel arches.

The rear continues the athletic theme with a prominent diffuser, fender vents, and a substantial rear wing. Inside, the Hyper-F deviates from the standard 7-seat configuration, opting for a 4-individual seat layout.

The Hyper-F’s body kit is a collaboration between Japanese companies Mitsui Chemicals and APRK Corporation. Made from TAFNEX CF/PP, a carbon fiber-reinforced polypropylene, the kit ensures lightweight performance and style. Many of the components were 3D printed, ensuring perfect fitment and reduced production times.

While Toyota has not released detailed specifications, they describe the Hyper-F as a “high-performance concept,” suggesting that the engine and performance have been significantly enhanced.
