On August 1, 2024, VinFast officially handed over the first VF 3 cars to customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, working towards the goal of delivering a minimum of 20,000 VF 3 cars by the end of this year.
The first batch of cars was delivered to the earliest depositors from a total of nearly 28,000 orders received just 66 hours after the opening sale in May 2024. Most of the delivered cars will feature basic colors such as green, gray, red, and yellow, while custom colors will be delivered later.

VF 3 is VinFast’s first small urban electric car model, designed with 2 doors and a square, personality-filled shape. The car offers a diverse range of colors, including 4 basic and 5 advanced colors, and allows customers to freely choose their paint color for a small fee of 15 million VND.
Its compact dimensions of 3,190 x 1,679 x 1,652 mm (length x width x height) give the VF 3 a sleek and dynamic appearance, suitable for all driving conditions. The car’s interior space comfortably accommodates a small family (2 adults and 2 children) thanks to its long wheelbase of 2,075 mm. The 16-inch wheels provide a generous 191 mm of ground clearance, allowing the car to navigate various terrains with ease.
The VinFast VF 3 is equipped with a battery that offers a range of up to 215 km on a single charge, and the fastest charging time from 10% to 70% is only 36 minutes. The electric motor delivers a maximum output of 30 kW and a peak torque of 110 Nm, combined with rear-wheel drive (RWD) for a swift acceleration from 0-50 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
Despite being a mini SUV, the VF 3 features a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a gear shift lever behind the steering wheel, an airbag for the driver, front disc brakes, and advanced safety technologies such as ABS, emergency brake assist, and hill-start assist.
The VF 3 is priced at 240 million VND for the battery leasing option and 322 million VND for the battery purchase option. For the leasing option, customers will be charged a monthly fee of 900,000 VND for driving distances below 1,500 km, 1,200,000 VND for distances between 1,500 and 2,500 km, and 2,000,000 VND for distances exceeding 2,500 km. The car comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of up to 7 years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first), while the high-voltage battery is warranted for 8 years with unlimited mileage.
Following this first batch, VinFast will continue to deliver VF 3 cars to pre-ordered customers at showrooms and distributors nationwide.
