Ford Unveils the Updated Maverick: A Mid-Cycle Refresh for the Compact Pickup
Ford has recently introduced a mid-cycle refresh for their compact pickup truck, the Maverick. This updated 2025 model boasts a range of new features and a refined exterior design.
The most notable change to the Ford Maverick 2025 is at the front, with a new grille, redesigned headlights, and a revised front bumper, giving the truck a sleek yet rugged appearance.
Ford is offering the Maverick 2025 in four distinct trim levels in the US market: the base XL, the mid-range XLT, the high-end Lariat, and the off-road-focused Tremor.
Each trim features unique exterior styling cues, such as the 19-inch wheels on the Lariat and the orange accents on the Tremor model.
Ford also introduces the Black Package for the Maverick 2025, which includes blacked-out features such as the grille, roof, logo, and wheels, available as an option across the entire range.
The interior of the Ford Maverick 2025 has also received significant upgrades, including an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a new 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford’s SYNC4 technology, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
Under the hood, the Maverick 2025 offers two powertrain options. The first is a hybrid system, combining a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor to produce a total of 191 horsepower. This setup is paired with a CVT transmission and is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The second option is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, delivering 238 horsepower. This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with all-wheel drive.
Ford plans to start taking deposits for the Maverick 2025 on August 1, with deliveries expected by the end of 2024. The compact pickup will have a starting price of $26,295 (approximately 663.3 million VND).
