Mitsubishi has yet to announce any new promotions for August 2024 on its website. However, according to sales consultants at dealerships, the Mitsubishi Xforce SUV is set to receive significant discounts this month.
The Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed will offer a 100% waiver on registration fees, equivalent to up to 64 million VND. As a result, the price of the Exceed model will be reduced to 576 million VND. On-road costs for the Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed in Hanoi will be less than 660 million VND, while in other provinces it will be 644 million VND.
This is the second consecutive month that Mitsubishi’s B-segment SUV has received a registration fee discount. In July 2024, the GLX standard version was offered with a 50% discount, equivalent to 30 million VND. However, the Mitsubishi Xforce GLX is currently out of stock at many dealerships.
The Mitsubishi Xforce is not the only B-segment SUV with promotions this August. Similar to the Xforce, the Honda HR-V and Toyota Yaris Cross also offer registration fee discounts, but at a lower rate of 50%. The Honda HR-V’s discount ranges from 35 to 43 million VND, depending on the version. Meanwhile, the Toyota Yaris Cross’s registration fee discount does not exceed 33 million VND for the G standard version and 38 million VND for the Hybrid version.
With this promotion, the Mitsubishi Xforce is expected to continue its strong sales performance in August 2024. In previous months, this model consistently topped the B-segment SUV sales charts.
In June 2024, Mitsubishi Xforce sold 948 units, a growth of 18.2%. Cumulatively, for the first six months of the year, this newcomer to the Mitsubishi lineup achieved sales of 3,890 units, leading the B-segment SUV market despite only being introduced in March 2024.
Features of the Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed
The Exceed is the second most affordable model in the Mitsubishi Xforce range, just above the GLX standard version. The Exceed is priced at 660 million VND but is currently being offered at a discounted price of 640 million VND by the manufacturer.
Notable features of the Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed include LED projector headlights and fog lights, LED taillights, 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, fabric seats, a three-spoke steering wheel with function buttons, analog instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a standard audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear seat vents, electronic parking brake, and auto hold function.

The Exceed model misses out on some convenience features such as heat-reducing leather seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, nanoe-X air purification system, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium eight-speaker audio system.
In terms of safety, the Exceed offers four airbags, a rearview camera, Active Yaw Control (AYC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). However, it does not include the advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) found in the higher-end trim levels.
Under the hood, the Xforce Exceed is powered by a familiar 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. Unfortunately, the Exceed model does not offer the four-mode drive system, including Highway, Waterlogged Road, Rocky Road, and Muddy Road, available in the higher trim levels.
