Toyota Vietnam has announced impressive sales figures for July 2024. The automotive manufacturer sold a total of 6,479 vehicles, comprising 2,970 domestically assembled cars and 3,509 completely built-up imported units. This marks a significant 25.1% growth compared to their sales performance in June 2024.
Meanwhile, the Lexus brand achieved sales of 109 units, a decrease of 20.4%. This brings the cumulative sales of Lexus vehicles in Vietnam to 13,027 units. Combined sales of both the Toyota and Lexus brands in July 2024 reached 6,588 units, an increase of 23.9%.
Breaking down the sales by model, the Toyota Vios emerged as the best-seller with 1,745 units sold, reflecting a remarkable 126.9% growth. With this outstanding performance, the Vios surpassed the Yaris Cross as Toyota’s top-selling model.
The Yaris Cross followed in second place with 1,242 units sold, a 53.1% increase. The Toyota Veloz Cross secured the third position with sales of 766 units, a 14% growth. The Toyota Corolla Cross came in fourth, selling 671 units, a modest 2% increase compared to June 2024. Other Toyota models collectively contributed sales of 2,055 units, an 18.9% increase.

Additionally, Toyota’s hybrid models performed exceptionally well in July, with sales of 404 units despite supply constraints. For the first seven months of 2024, cumulative sales of hybrid vehicles reached 2,085 units, a 90% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Toyota currently offers hybrid versions of the Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, Innova Cross, Camry, and Corolla Altis.
In August 2024, Toyota Vietnam is extending promotional programs for four models: Vios, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Yaris Cross. Customers purchasing these models will be eligible for two promotional offers: a 50% discount on registration fees and a preferential interest rate of 4.99% per annum.
The registration fee discount for the Toyota Vios is capped at VND 23 million for the E MT version, VND 25 million for the E CVT version, and VND 27 million for the G CVT version. The corresponding values for the Toyota Veloz Cross are VND 32 million for the CVT version and VND 33 million for the CVT Top version. The Toyota Avanza Premio offers a discount of VND 28 million for the MT version and VND 30 million for the CVT version. The registration fee discount for the Toyota Yaris Cross is limited to VND 33 million for the G grade and VND 38 million for the Hybrid grade.
These promotional offers from Toyota are applicable to all customers who purchase a vehicle and complete the full payment process between August 1, 2024, and August 31, 2024.
