The Vietnamese auto market has entered the seventh lunar month, a period when local consumers refrain from buying cars. As a result, from the beginning of August 2024, a series of car manufacturers and dealers have announced significant promotional programs. MG is one of them.
Specifically, in August 2024, the MG brand is running a promotion for all its car models. The MG ZS SUV line offers a registration fee waiver worth VND 26 million for the 1.5 STD version and VND 29 million for the 1.5 LUX version.
However, at dealerships, this B-segment SUV is offered with even more attractive incentives. Some dealers are currently offering a 100% registration fee waiver for the car. As a result, the MG ZS now has an on-road price of just VND 485 million, which is cheaper than the listed price of some A-segment SUVs such as the Toyota Raize (VND 498 million) or the Hyundai Venue (VND 499 million).
The next MG model with a registration fee incentive in August 2024 is the MG5. The incentive for this model ranges from VND 24 to 26 million for the 1.5 STD and 1.5 LUX versions, respectively. Meanwhile, the New MG5 line offers a one-year bank interest incentive worth VND 25 million for the 1.5 MT version.
For the MG RX5 line, the manufacturer offers a registration fee and two years of physical damage insurance worth up to VND 120 million. This program applies to both the 1.5T STD and 1.5T LUX versions.
On the other hand, the MG HS 1.5T DEL version is offered with a registration fee and one year of physical damage insurance worth VND 80 million. The corresponding incentive for the 1.5T LUX version is VND 85 million.
Finally, the MG4 EV electric car line has a promotion that includes a free 7 kW electric charger, free charging for 12 months with MG’s public charging system partners, and a one-to-one battery warranty for seven years.

MG’s promotion program is applicable from August 1, 2024, to August 31, 2024, for all customers who purchase cars and dealers who have issued VAT invoices.
