Gumball 3000 is an epic supercar journey, first organized in 1999. Each excursion gathers hundreds of supercars and spans multiple days and countries.
This year, Gumball 3000 has chosen Ho Chi Minh City as its starting point to promote the beauty of Vietnam to the world.
The world-renowned Gumball 3000 2024 event will officially flag off on September 14th. Supercars are currently being shipped to the country in preparation for the event.
This year’s excursion will feature the participation of 121 teams, numbered from 0 to 120. The list is still being finalized, and it includes some of the most prestigious supercars and hypercars.
Specifically, the event will host Team Cambodia, showcasing two Bugatti masterpieces: the Bugatti Chiron and the Bugatti Chiron SuperSport. Thailand’s representatives will bring two iconic cars to Gumball 3000 2024: the Porsche Carrera GT and the Lamborghini Murcielago SV.
The founder of this supercar journey, Dan_Am_i, will be bringing two “blockbusters”: the Koenigsegg Agera and the Koenigsegg Regera, both in full carbon fiber.
Although Trung Nguyen Coffee Group Chairman Dang Le Nguyen Vu will not be participating in this excursion, he has generously sponsored Gumball 3000 2024 with £200,000 (equivalent to 6.42 billion VND). Additionally, the Trung Nguyen coffee brand will accompany Gumball 3000 on all its global journeys.
According to the schedule, after departing from Ho Chi Minh City, the Gumball 3000 2024 convoy will travel through Phrom Penh and Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bangkok and Krabi in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, before concluding in Singapore. The final activity of the journey will be a speed feast at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix.
