The ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce Phantom line has entered its 8th generation, with over 20 vehicles imported to Vietnam through official and private channels. A brand-new, privately imported 2022 Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is now up for sale.
According to the seller, this 8th-generation Phantom is in pristine condition, despite being privately imported. It sports a stylish two-tone paint job in metallic grey and red, with red accents on the hood, roof, and trunk. The vehicle also boasts chrome and silver accents and a set of striking multi-spoke rims.
The interior of this Phantom VIII is just as impressive, featuring a predominantly red hue with rare wood trim. One of its most notable features is the optional privacy partition between the front and rear seats, which is made of glass and includes a curtain for added privacy.
The asking price for this particular Phantom VIII is an attractive 39 billion VND, which is even lower than the price of some pre-owned Phantom VIII models. In comparison, another 8th-generation Phantom with a “western” license plate is currently listed for 60 billion VND.
The 8th-generation Phantom is easily recognizable by its distinctive design and LED taillights. It also features laser headlights with LED daytime running lights, providing an impressive 600-meter range at night. The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament sits 12mm higher, and the grille has been subtly redesigned.
The interior of the 8th-generation Phantom has been refreshed, highlighted by the customizable “The Gallery” feature on the dashboard, which can be personalized with oil paintings, ceramics, silk, feathers, or even 3D-printed gold sculptures. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch TFT display, a four-zone automatic climate control system, and a Rolls-Royce Bespoke audio system with 18 speakers and 1,300 watts of power.
Under the hood, the Phantom VIII is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower, an increase of 110 hp over the previous generation. It also generates 900 Nm of torque, an improvement of 180 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
