After a year of anticipation, the luxurious Stelato S9 sedan has finally been unveiled, offering a range of cutting-edge features and an impressive price tag starting from 1.3 to 1.47 billion VND.
Stelato S9 is positioned in the premium all-electric sedan segment, rivaling the Mercedes EQS and BMW i7. With dimensions of 5,160 x 1,987 x 1,486 mm and a wheelbase of 3,050 mm, it’s a spacious and sleek vehicle.
The S9 boasts a design language inspired by the Luxeed S7, another electric sedan produced by Huawei and Chery. It features camera mirrors and hidden door handles for improved aerodynamics, complemented by large 20- to 21-inch wheels.
Stelato S9 is equipped with Huawei’s premium xPixel headlights, lidar sensors for advanced driver assistance, and a large central control screen integrated with the HarmonyOS 4 operating system.
The interior of the S9 shares similarities with the Luxeed S7. It features a multifunctional 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a prominent 15.6-inch central control screen.
As a flagship model from tech giant Huawei, the S9 boasts the exclusive and sophisticated Huawei HarmonyOS 4, along with a meticulously designed Huawei audio system. The charging configuration includes two Type-C ports and two wireless charging pads in the front, and one Type-C port and one wireless charging pad in the rear.
The rear seats offer a weightless experience with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, along with an armrest screen for entertainment and seat, climate, and wireless charging controls. The front passenger seat can be folded down to create a flat bed.
All windows of the Stelato S9 are privacy-tinted and feature double-layer sound insulation. The door trim is equipped with ambient lighting and speakers.
The Hongmeng ALPS cockpit is equipped with a dual-zone oxygen ion system and selective absorbent and decomposable materials, ensuring fresh and healthy air. The S9 even has its own signature fragrance. The front and rear trunk volumes are 38 liters and 378 liters, respectively.
The Stelato S9 offers two powertrain configurations. The standard version features a single electric motor producing 308 horsepower, while the high-performance version utilizes two electric motors, with 214 horsepower at the front and 308 horsepower at the rear.
Both versions are equipped with a 100 kWh battery. The single-motor model offers an impressive range of up to 816 km, while the dual-motor version provides a range of 721 km.
Built on an 800V architecture, the S9 can achieve a range of 200 km with just a 5-minute charge.
S9 is equipped with an air suspension system and adaptive dampers. Notably, the vehicle introduces the Huawei ADS 3.0 system, which features human-like driving intelligence for complex road conditions. Upgraded with the GOD neural sensing network, it goes beyond object recognition to truly understand driving situations.
Huawei ADS 3.0 includes functions such as pedal misapplication collision avoidance and adaptive emergency braking (AEB) for various road conditions, ensuring smooth braking on slippery, rainy, or snowy surfaces.
Additionally, the Stelato S9 is equipped with LiDAR, providing a detection range of up to 250 meters and enhancing its sensing capabilities.
