Honda has recently unveiled a mildly updated version of the Civic in Thailand, and as predicted, this model is set to make its way to Vietnam soon.
Local dealers have started taking deposits for the 2025 Honda Civic. According to dealers, this C-segment sedan will be officially launched in Vietnam in September this year and will feature a new hybrid version.
Earlier this year, Honda representatives hinted at the launch of a new hybrid model in Vietnam in 2024. This hybrid vehicle is likely to be the Honda Civic e:HEV 2025.
Unfortunately, specific information about the new Honda Civic for the Vietnamese market has not yet been disclosed. However, based on the recently launched model in Thailand, we can get a glimpse of what to expect in terms of design and features for the 2025 Honda Civic in Vietnam.

Under the hood, the 2025 Honda Civic offers two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 178 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. The power is delivered to the front wheels through a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel and two driving modes: Econ and Normal.
The second option is a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 141 horsepower and 182 Nm of torque, along with two electric motors. One of the electric motors functions as a generator, while the other drives the car. These motors contribute a combined 184 horsepower to the vehicle. The hybrid version of the Honda Civic has a total system output of 184 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. It also offers four driving modes: Econ, Normal, Sport, and Individual.

The exact pricing for this C-segment sedan in Thailand has not been announced yet. It is expected to range between 1.03 and 1.24 million Baht (approximately 729 to 878 million VND). Interestingly, the price of the new Honda Civic in Thailand is comparable to the price of the older model currently available in Vietnam (730 to 870 million VND). Therefore, it is likely that the new model will also see a price increase when it arrives in Vietnam.
