Honda Civic Upgrades: A Step Towards a Greener Future

Honda Vietnam is gearing up to launch an upgraded version of the Honda Civic, the 11th generation, in October 2024. This new model aims to offer a premium sports car experience with superior performance and a host of improvements in technology, design, convenience, and safety.

A notable addition is the introduction of a Hybrid engine option, a first for the Honda Civic in Vietnam. This new engine showcases Honda Vietnam’s commitment to delivering on its promise of carbon neutrality by 2050, in line with the Vietnamese government and Honda Motor’s goals.

Powerful and Unique Performance

The hallmark of Honda automotive products, their competitive advantage, lies in the exhilarating driving experience they offer. The new Hybrid engine, combined with the Civic’s sporty DNA, promises exceptional power and superior fuel efficiency, optimizing performance while reducing environmental impact.

The Honda Civic e:HEV RS delivers a thrilling driving experience with its 2.0L combustion engine and Hybrid motor, producing an impressive 200 Hp (149 kW). Feel the power and responsiveness as you glide through the streets with smooth, agile handling at every turn of the wheel.

Alongside the new Hybrid engine, the traditional 1.5L VTEC TURBO engine is retained in the RS and G versions, delivering an impressive 176 Hp (131 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm between 1,700 and 4,500 rpm. With a sturdy chassis and exceptional engine performance, the Honda Civic ensures an enjoyable ride on all terrains.

Sporty and Stylish Design

The new Honda Civic’s interior and exterior designs exude sophistication and appeal. Subtle refinements optimize the customer experience, such as the redesigned hexagonal grille, sharper front bumper, and large sports air intake, enhancing the car’s aerodynamics. The sleek dark-toned taillights complement the bold and free-flowing lines of the vehicle.

Advanced Safety and Convenience Features

The Honda Civic takes safety and convenience to the next level with unique features like the Honda CONNECT advanced telecommunications system in the e:HEV RS and RS versions. The e:HEV RS also boasts active noise cancellation and a modern personal driving mode. All three versions are equipped with the Honda SENSING suite of advanced safety technologies: Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Adaptive High-beam Support (ADB), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Front Vehicle Start Notification (LDN)

Additionally, the Honda Civic now includes a rear sensor system and six airbags as standard across all three versions, ensuring the highest level of protection for occupants and other road users.
