BYD Unveils the Seal: An All-Electric Sedan with a Mid-Cycle Facelift
BYD Seal 2025 is built on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo, sharing the same platform as the Sealion 07. The 2025 model maintains its dimensions with a length of 4,800 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, a height of 1,460 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm.
A new exterior color option, pink, has been added to the lineup. The exterior design has also been refined, with the “Build Your Dreams” wording on the trunk now replaced by BYD’s red logo.
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned with modern touches, including a flat-bottom steering wheel and a large, conveniently rotatable central control screen.
All versions of the BYD Seal 2025 come equipped with 13 airbags and a windshield-mounted W-HUD display.
In terms of safety, the BYD Seal is enhanced with a LiDAR sensor on the roof, improving the functionality of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The vehicle also integrates the DiPilot 300 Level 2+ system, featuring Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) and Automated Valet Parking (AVP).
The BYD Seal 2025 offers two powertrain options: The standard version features a rear-axle electric motor producing 228 horsepower. The highest-end variant is equipped with two electric motors, delivering 523 horsepower and 670 Nm of peak torque.
Customers can choose between two battery options: 61.44 kW and 80.64 kW. The range, as per the CLTC standard, is between 510 and 650 kilometers.
In the Vietnamese market, the BYD Seal is available in two variants: Advance and Performance, priced at VND 1.119 billion and VND 1.359 billion, respectively.
