A stunning collection of supercars and SUVs recently gathered in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7, captivating the online community. The cars, belonging to a pre-owned vehicle dealership in Saigon, included a yellow Ferrari 296 GTB, a Ferrari F8 Spider, and two luxurious Mercedes-AMG G63 SUVs.
The total value of this car collection is estimated at nearly $2.8 million, with the most expensive being the Ferrari F8 Spider, priced at $1.1 million, on par with the cost of a brand new, officially imported vehicle.
This convertible Ferrari F8 Spider is an officially imported model, and its owner has further invested in official Ferrari carbon fiber components, including a front spoiler, lamp housings, side vents, an engine cover, and interior trim, costing several hundred thousand dollars.
The Ferrari F8 Spider is equipped with a retractable hardtop that can be raised or lowered in approximately 14 seconds. It also features a small glass partition between the two seats, adjustable via a button in the cockpit.
The owner of the Ferrari F8 Spider can operate the retractable roof while the car is in motion, although Ferrari recommends doing so only when the vehicle’s speed is below 31 mph.
The Ferrari F8 Spider is powered by a familiar 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, also found in the Ferrari 488 GTB, but now delivering an impressive 711 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque.
This power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling the Ferrari F8 Spider to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 211 mph or 202 mph with the roof down.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the Ferrari 296 GTB is its plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a 2.9-liter V6 turbocharged engine—marking the return of a V6 engine after a 50-year hiatus. The internal combustion engine produces 654 hp, while the electric motor adds another 164 hp.
The torque figures for the internal combustion engine and the electric motor are 425 Nm and 315 Nm, respectively. Combined, the Ferrari 296 GTB’s plug-in hybrid system delivers a total output of 818 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque.
With this impressive powertrain, the Ferrari 296 GTB can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph. As a plug-in hybrid, it can also travel up to 15 miles at speeds of up to 84 mph on electric power alone.
The two Mercedes-AMG G63 SUVs, parked on the outer sides of the $2 million pair of supercars, are both finished in gray. They are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, producing 577 hp at 6,000 rpm and 627 lb-ft of torque between 2,500 and 3,500 rpm.
This power is transmitted to all four wheels through an AMG Speedshift Plus 9-speed automatic transmission, allowing the iconic Mercedes-AMG G63 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 137 mph.
