The Porsche 911 Turbo S is an ultra-high-performance sports car that rivals the likes of the Audi R8, Aston Martin DB11, and Bentley Continental GT. In its latest iteration, the 992, nearly six units of the Porsche 911 Turbo S have been imported into the country, boasting a diverse range of colors. It’s a car that’s so captivating that owners rarely consider selling it, unless they’re making room for another exotic ride.
However, news of a pre-owned Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 in Nogaro Metallic green being offered for sale in Ho Chi Minh City sparked interest among car enthusiasts and wealthy aficionados. A businessman from Hanoi ultimately acquired the car for a price close to 13 billion VND.
On August 10, 2024, this stunning Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 in Nogaro Metallic green was taken for a spin in Hanoi’s supercar hotspot, now bearing a new license plate: 30M-010.99.
This marks the first Porsche 911 Turbo S of the latest generation to be registered in Hanoi, featuring a Nogaro Metallic green paint job that costs nearly half a billion VND.
Compared to its predecessor, the Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 retains the 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine but pumps out an impressive 640 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.
These figures represent a significant jump of 60 horsepower and 50 Nm over the previous-gen Porsche 911 Turbo S 991, three of which were officially imported and owned by Dang Le Nguyen Vu, Chairman of Trung Nguyen Corporation.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 combines its potent engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono package, en route to a top speed of 330 km/h.
