On August 10, 2024, a mall in Cambodia attracted thousands of visitors due to a gathering of supercars worth billions of Vietnamese Dong.
This event was a promotional activity for the world’s largest supercar rally, Gumball 3000 2024, which will take place in Cambodia next month. The rally will start in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on September 14 and 15, 2024, before proceeding to Cambodia.
The gathering in Cambodia featured an estimated 30 supercars, including two megacar masterpieces: the Bugatti Chiron, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, and the brand new Lamborghini Revuelto.
In addition to the supercars, the gathering also showcased highly modified vehicles, including a 1,200 horsepower Nissan GT-R that was previously owned in Vietnam. The presence of Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Aston Martin supercars added to the excitement of the event.
French supercar manufacturer Bugatti produced only 60 units of the Chiron Super Sport worldwide, with a price tag of $3.9 million, or approximately 90 billion Vietnamese Dong. Over 20 of these cars are estimated to be in Asia.
The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is powered by a W16 engine with a displacement of 8.0 liters and four turbochargers, generating 1,578 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. The French automaker has limited the car’s top speed to 440 km/h for safety and regulatory compliance.
