Ford is set to launch the all-new Territory Sport in Vietnam in the third quarter of this year, according to recent reports from sales consultants.

The Ford Territory Sport has previously been introduced in two other Southeast Asian countries, the Philippines and Cambodia. While Ford Vietnam has yet to confirm, the information is believed to be credible.

The Ford Territory Sport 2024 is based on the Titanium X trim and boasts a modern design with a host of black accents, including trims, scuff plates, fog lamp bezels, mirror caps, roof rack rails, alloy wheels, and the Territory badge at the rear. This contrast with the exterior color gives the SUV a sportier and more premium look.

Step inside the Territory Sport, and you’ll be greeted by a striking two-tone white and black interior. The seats and armrests feature contrasting orange stitching and accents, adding a touch of vibrancy to the cabin.

The SUV comes loaded with modern conveniences such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch center touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and an electric tailgate with hands-free opening.

The Ford Territory Sport 2024 features perforated leather upholstery on the seats, with door trim and dashboard panels also wrapped in leather for a premium feel.

In terms of safety, the Ford Territory Sport 2024 is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, including a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, pre-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and active park assist.

Under the hood, the Ford Territory Sport is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 158 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch wet-type automatic transmission and delivers power to the front wheels. Drivers can choose between four drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain, depending on their driving preferences and conditions.

In Vietnam, the Ford Territory is currently offered in three trim levels: Trend, Titanium, and Titanium X, with prices ranging from 799 to 929 million VND. The Territory Sport is expected to be the most expensive variant in the lineup when it goes on sale.
