On the morning of August 13, the Vietnam Partnership Auction Company took hundreds of car license plates from provinces to the ‘auction floor.’
Notably, the license plate number 30M-000.01 from Hanoi city fetched a staggering 1.05 billion VND during the 8:30 am hour.
From the very first minute it was put up for auction, this license plate attracted widespread attention, reaching 500 million VND just minutes after the start. At the end of the session, a big spender finalized the auction with a bid of 1.05 billion VND and took this unique plate home.
While not as sought-after as quintuple number plates or ‘sảnh’ plates, the 000.01 plate is still favored by many license plate enthusiasts for its singular significance.
It remains unknown which car the owner of this plate intends to put it on, but if it’s a luxury or sports car, it will surely be a perfect match.
