Luminari Motor Company Transforms a Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG into a Stunning Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet
In a recent project, Luminari Motor Company in New York performed an incredible transformation, converting a Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG into a Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet. The resulting vehicle is a true masterpiece.
To achieve the desired look, the tuners modified the car’s body, adding chrome details to its rugged design. They also utilized a Portal Axle system to increase the ground clearance to an impressive 450 mm and extend the wheelbase. The Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet rides on 22-inch chrome-plated five-twin-spoke rims with “Landaulet” engraved on the rims, complemented by carbon fiber wheel arch trims.
One of the most distinctive features is the soft-top roof in the rear passenger area, which can be automatically opened and closed with the push of a button. This unique feature provides passengers with an enjoyable and exclusive experience, offering a sense of closeness to nature typically found only in convertible cars.
The vehicle’s license plate, “99PLUS 1”, emphasizes its uniqueness, indicating that it is the one-of-a-kind creation by Luminari Motor Company, distinct from the 99 officially produced models worldwide. Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet retains the G 65 AMG’s powerful V12 Biturbo 6.0L engine, delivering 630 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque.
The price of this customized G 650 Landaulet by Luminari Motor Company is unknown. However, the original Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet had a starting price of 749,700 Euros in 2017, which would equate to over 35 billion VND at current exchange rates.
