According to reports, VinFast delivered over 4,000 vehicles to customers in July.
Among these, the VF 5 remained the brand’s best-selling model, with nearly 2,600 units sold, accounting for approximately 65% of the market share. The remaining models, including the VF 3, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9, made up the other 35%.
Cumulative deliveries of the VF 5 since the beginning of the year have reached approximately 15,000 units, far surpassing the second best-selling model in the market, the Mitsubishi Xpander, which sold 9,265 units.
The VF 5 was once VinFast’s most affordable electric vehicle before the launch of the VF 3. It is priced at 468 million VND without a battery and 559 million VND with a battery and charger. Currently, buyers are offered exemptions from registration fees and free charging at VinFast stations for almost a year.
The VF 5 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 100 kW (134 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. Its lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 37.23 kWh, providing a range of 300 km on a single charge.
