Zeekr Unveils the 007 2025: A Revolutionary Electric Vehicle with Cutting-Edge Technology

During a press conference held on August 13, Zeekr unveiled its highly anticipated 007 2025 model. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first vehicle from the Chinese brand to feature the all-new Golden Battery system.

According to the automaker, the Golden Battery boasts a series of breakthrough technologies that address the long-standing concerns of electric vehicle users regarding battery range and convenient charging options.

Specifically, the Zeekr 007 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes, outpacing any electric vehicle currently available on the market. Impressively, the company asserts that this new battery system can achieve similar charging performance even in temperatures as low as -10°C.

In addition to the innovative battery system, the Zeekr 007 retains the option of the CATL Qilin 100 kWh battery, which has been optimized to meet the 5C fast-charging standard.

The Zeekr 007 is expected to deliver an impressive range, estimated at between 688km and 870km on a single charge. The vehicle consumes approximately 12.5kWh of electricity per 100km. Both the 75kWh Golden Battery and the 100kWh lithium-ternary battery options enable the vehicle to travel around 610km with just a 15-minute charge.

Zeekr has also improved the acceleration of the 007 by tweaking the algorithm. The all-wheel-drive standard version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while the rear-wheel-drive version achieves the same in 5.0 seconds.

The high-performance all-wheel-drive version maintains its impressive acceleration, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 2.84 seconds. According to Zeekr, this makes the 007 the fastest accelerating mid-size electric vehicle in the world.

The Zeekr 007 2025 is also one of the most advanced electric vehicles globally, featuring the Haohan 2.0 intelligent driving system, which integrates the Nvidia Orin X processor and over 30 sensors.

Zeekr claims that the vehicle can distinguish between 30 complex types of intersections with an accuracy rate of over 95%. Additionally, it can handle more than 1,000 different traffic scenarios with absolute precision.

The vehicle’s operating system has been upgraded to Zeekr OS AI, enabling voice control of all in-car systems from any position within the cabin. Beyond following commands, the system can proactively make suggestions based on specific situations, such as reminding the driver to charge the vehicle or switch air circulation modes when entering a tunnel.

A unique feature of the Zeekr 007 is its remote parking capability, allowing drivers to use a finger-controlled gesture to mark a temporary parking spot. In the coming months, additional upgrades are also slated for release.

The Zeekr 007 2025 is expected to arrive at dealerships as early as next week. The company has successfully installed 500 super-charging stations across China and aims to double this number by the end of the year, with a long-term goal of reaching 10,000 stations by 2026.
