BMW M3 and M4 2024 Now Accepting Reservations: High-Performance Machines for the Ultimate “Bimmer” Enthusiast, Starting at VND 5 Billion

Previously, a Vietnamese car enthusiast had placed an order for the high-performance BMW M4 2024, estimated at a whopping 7 billion VND. Now, the local BMW dealerships have officially opened public orders for the M3, starting at 5 billion VND, and the M4, priced at 5.6 billion VND.

Some BMW dealers in Vietnam have recently shared news about taking reservations for the 2024 BMW M3 and BMW M4 high-performance sedans. Both vehicles are expected to be the top-of-the-line Competition xDrive models, which come with a hefty price tag.

According to the source, the BMW M3 Competition xDrive is estimated to cost 5 billion VND [~USD 214,000], while the BMW M4 Competition xDrive is priced 600 million VND higher, starting at 5.6 billion VND [~USD 240,000].

These prices do not include additional options, and choosing all the highest-end accessories can add up to 1 billion VND [~USD 43,000] to the cost. Previously, a Vietnamese enthusiast pre-ordered the high-performance BMW M4 2024, expecting a price of around 7 billion VND [~USD 300,000].

The 2024 BMW M3 Competition xDrive will be powered by a 3.0L inline-6 cylinder twin-turbo gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 523 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This engine is 20 horsepower more powerful than its predecessor. As a result, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h when equipped with the optional M Driver’s Package.

The BMW M3 Competition xDrive 2024 continues to pair this engine with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, along with an Active M Differential lock on the rear axle.

On the other hand, the BMW M4 Competition is equipped with a 3.0-liter inline-6 cylinder twin-turbo engine that generates a maximum output of 503 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. Thanks to its more powerful engine, the new BMW M4 can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package.

This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted shift paddles and an M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The all-wheel-drive system comes with an Active M differential lock on the rear axle and offers three modes: 4WD, 4WD Sport, and 2WD.
