There has been a recent buzz on social media surrounding a photo of a small VinFast electric car, the VF3, with the distinctive license plate 30L-567.99. This plate has caught the attention of many, as it is considered quite a significant combination, with the potential to become a “super plate” if the fourth number from the right was an 8 instead of a 4.
Out of the hundreds of VinFast VF3s delivered to customers, this particular car has garnered special attention due to its unique license plate, which its owner acquired for a price equivalent to half the cost of the vehicle.
The license plate, 30L-567.99, was auctioned off on July 6, 2024, between 10:00 and 10:25 AM, with the highest bidder offering a substantial 135 million VND. In contrast, the VinFast VF3’s selling price is 235 million VND for the battery leasing option and 315 million VND if purchased with a battery.
Currently, VinFast VF3 offers a total of 9 color options for customers to choose from. The 4 basic colors are white, red, dark blue, and gray, while the 5 enhanced colors include yellow, pink-purple, light green, light blue, and pink. The car with the notable license plate is painted in a sleek gray shade.
The VF3 is powered by an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering a maximum output of 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
Equipped with a lithium-ion battery, the VinFast VF3 offers a usable capacity of 18.64 kWh, providing a range of 210 km on a single charge according to the NEDC standard. Charging the battery from 10% to 70% takes 5 hours with a slow charger and only 36 minutes using a fast charger.
