Hyundai Unveils the New Custin: A Refined Design and Upgraded Interior
Hyundai has revealed the first images of the new Hyundai Custin facelift in the Chinese market.
The new model features a refined design, with the distinctive diamond-pattern grille remaining intact but with altered inner details, complemented by a bright, prominent chrome trim.
The front headlights seamlessly connect with the grille, a style Hyundai has adopted for many of its models, such as the Tucson and Santa Cruz. The new Custin sports a more angular front bumper, adding a touch of sportiness to this MPV.
On the sides, the vehicle showcases new 18-inch alloy wheels with a dual-tone black and silver finish. Details of the rear design are yet to be revealed by the manufacturer.
The interior of the new Hyundai Custin boasts a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The entire cabin is upholstered in two-tone black and white leather, exuding elegance. The second-row seating comprises two individual premium seats, potentially equipped with personal control screens and massage functions. Additionally, the vehicle features a panoramic sunroof.
As a mid-cycle refresh, the Hyundai Custin retains its existing powertrain options. Customers can choose between a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine producing 168 horsepower or a 2.0L turbocharged engine generating 233 horsepower, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Custin facelift is set to launch in China on August 26, and there are indications that Hyundai TC Motor will introduce this updated model to the Vietnamese market in the near future.
