The All-New Kia Sportage 2025: Unveiling Soon with a Sleek, Modern Update

The most significant changes to the 2025 Sportage will be evident in its front end, featuring a LED headlight design inspired by the EV9 electric vehicle, resembling a star map. This is complemented by a more angular grille and seamlessly integrated headlights. At the rear, the facelifted Sportage sports redesigned taillights and a simplified bumper, giving the Korean crossover a sleek appearance.

The interior of the Sportage is expected to receive updates, including a new curved display that integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen. The 2025 Sportage may also offer Kia Connect in select markets, enabling automatic emergency calls in the event of a collision and allowing control of certain vehicle functions via a smartphone app.

Under the hood, the new Sportage is likely to retain the current model’s engine options. This popular crossover offers a range of powertrains, starting with a 2.5L I4 gasoline engine producing 187 horsepower and 241 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid version combines a 1.6L gasoline engine with an electric motor, generating a total of 227 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid variant takes it up a notch with 261 horsepower. Additionally, the Sportage is also available with a 2.0L diesel engine, delivering 183 horsepower.

According to leaked information, the 2025 Sportage will be unveiled later this year and go on sale in early 2025. It will subsequently be introduced in various markets, including Vietnam.
