Last year, news emerged about a nearly 20-year-old Lamborghini Gallardo undergoing an extensive overhaul by skilled Vietnamese engineers. While it’s not uncommon for supercars to require repairs in Vietnam, openly documenting the process is a bold move.
Now, the latest images of this Lamborghini Gallardo will delight car enthusiasts as the car has completed its repairs and is in the final stages of painting before hitting the roads again.
This particular Lamborghini Gallardo is painted in a vibrant yellow, and the engineers have decided to paint the engine block yellow to match the exterior. Being the first Lamborghini Gallardo to arrive in Vietnam, the car and its owner garnered significant attention.
Currently, there are almost ten Lamborghini Gallardos in the country, including the standard model, LP560-4, convertible, high-performance variants like the Superleggera, and limited editions such as the SE, of which only 250 were produced worldwide.
The Lamborghini Gallardo, produced from 2004 onwards, is equipped with a V10 engine with a displacement of 5.0 liters, generating a maximum output of 493 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. This “super bull” can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 309 km/h.
