The Song Plus EV 2025 from BYD has received a sporty upgrade with its new 19-inch alloy wheels and a glowing BYD logo, replacing the “Build Your Dreams” slogan. Aside from these changes, the exterior design remains largely unchanged from its predecessor.

Inside, the vehicle boasts a 15.6-inch central display with the DiLink 100 OS, featuring voice interaction and gesture recognition capabilities. Other notable features include a heated steering wheel and a 50W wireless phone charger.

BYD has equipped the Song Plus EV 2025 with up to 10 ADAS driving modes, including automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist.

The EV offers two powertrain options. The standard version features a single electric motor that delivers 200 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque.

The premium version also uses a single motor but with higher outputs of 215 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque.

Both powertrain options are coupled with BYD’s Blade battery system, offering capacities of 71.8 or 87.04 kWh. This provides an impressive range of up to 605 kilometers on a single charge.

According to BYD, the Song Plus EV 2025 starts at 149,800 Chinese yuan, which is approximately 487 million Vietnamese dong. The starting price for the standard version remains unchanged, while the price of the highest configuration has been reduced by 14,000 yuan (nearly 45 million dong). Additionally, BYD has discontinued a mid-range version that was previously priced at 169,800 yuan (553 million dong).
