The power couple of Doan Di Bang and her husband have become the talk of the town among car enthusiasts after adding a McLaren 720S Spider and a Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 to their collection. At one point, their garage was so full that their multi-billion-dong supercars had to reside on the street.
In 2024, the couple added two very different vehicles to their collection: a Bentley Bentayga EWB and a Lamborghini Urus Performante. While the Bentayga leans towards luxury, the Urus is a powerhouse.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante is a rare sight in Vietnam, with only a handful of units in the country. It’s the high-performance version of the standard Urus, featuring carbon fiber accents, a sportier interior, and a more powerful drivetrain with unique driving modes.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante boasts a more aggressive design with a new hood, front bumper with air intakes, and a revised grille. The side profile is accentuated by new side skirts with “Performante” lettering, distinguishing it from the other two variants. It also features bespoke wheels designed specifically for Lamborghini’s high-performance SUV.
At the rear, the Urus Performante features a new diffuser, Akrapovic dual exhaust pipes, and a large carbon fiber spoiler on the roof. A smaller spoiler is also present above the taillights, which are connected by a carbon fiber strip.
The interior of the Urus Performante is adorned with Alcantara leather and yellow accents, including the embroidered Lamborghini logo and “Urus” lettering. The door panels feature carbon fiber and yellow trim, complementing the sporty exterior. The Performante version simplifies the Anima driving modes, reducing them to four: Strada, Sport, Corsa, and the new Rally mode, which is perfect for exploring challenging terrain.
Under the hood, the Lamborghini Urus Performante is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This allows the high-performance SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard Urus, and reach a top speed of 306 km/h.
The Urus Performante has a starting price of 16.5 billion dong, but the owner, known as Quoc Vu, revealed that he paid 21 billion dong to bring this supercar to his garage.
After enjoying the high-performance Urus Performante for a while, the couple surprised everyone again by announcing the addition of another SUV to their collection, this time a super-luxury model: the Bentley Bentayga EWB. This SUV combines speed, convenience, comfort, and, of course, luxury.
The official dealer has started taking orders for the Bentley Bentayga EWB, offering it to Vietnam’s wealthy class at a starting price of 18.5 billion dong, which is quite a bargain compared to its rival, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which costs over 30 billion dong without any additional options. It is estimated that Quoc Vu will spend nearly 25 billion dong to own this super-luxury SUV.
One of the most interesting features of the Bentley Bentayga EWB is its extended wheelbase, which provides more legroom and allows for the addition of luxurious amenities. The EWB version offers a 4+1 configuration, with two business-class seats in the rear, known as the Bentley Airline Seats.
These seats can be reclined up to 40 degrees, transforming them into a comfortable bed. The rear-seat entertainment screen can be detached and used as a tablet for added convenience. Additionally, the Bentayga EWB offers a comprehensive health and wellness experience with its Airline Seats, which can adjust the passenger’s posture through 177 continuous air cushion movements in six contact areas over three hours, providing a relaxing and soothing experience.
The Bentayga EWB with the extended wheelbase also introduces the “Metal Overlay in Veneer” metal inlay option, offering 24 trillion trim combinations for a truly unique vehicle.
However, the heart of the super-luxury SUV remains the same: a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 542 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. This setup enables the Bentayga EWB to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
