India’s Leading Automotive Brand Unveils the All-New Ola Electric Roadster
The highly anticipated Ola Electric Roadster has officially been unveiled, offering an exciting new addition to the Indian market. With three variants, the Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro, Ola is set to revolutionize electric mobility.
Ola Roadster X
The Ola Roadster X comes with three battery options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh, priced at 74,999 Rs, 84,999 Rs, and 99,999 Rs, respectively. That’s approximately $2,230, $2,530, and $2,980.
With the 4.5 kWh battery, the Roadster X can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 124 km/h. It boasts an impressive 200 km range.
The design across the three variants remains consistent. The Roadster X features LED headlights and a 4.3-inch LCD screen running the latest MoveOS 5, offering navigation, cruise control, and driving modes.
Ola Roadster
Even though it’s the standard version, the Ola Roadster is priced between the X and Pro variants. It is powered by an electric motor producing over 17 horsepower, with battery options of 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh.
The pricing for these batteries is set at 104,999 Rs, 120,000 Rs, and 139,999 Rs, respectively, which converts to around $31,200, $35,700, and $41,700.
With the 6 kWh battery, the Ola Roadster can sprint from 0-40 km/h in a breathtaking 2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 126 km/h. It offers a substantial 248 km range.
This variant comes loaded with features, including a smart dashboard, AI-assisted driving through a 6.8-inch touchscreen, ABS, cornering ABS, cruise control, and driving modes such as Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco.
Ola Roadster Pro
The flagship Ola Roadster Pro is a performance beast, delivering 69.7 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque. It offers two battery options: 8kWh and 16kWh, priced at approximately $56,700 and $70,880.
With incredible acceleration, the Roadster Pro can go from 0-60 km/h in just 1.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 km/h. The 16 kWh battery provides an astonishing 579 km range.
In addition to its performance, the Roadster Pro impresses with a host of features, including a 10-inch touchscreen, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, four driving modes, three levels of traction control, and wheelie control.
Customers who purchase the Ola Roadster X can expect delivery in 2025, followed by the Ola Roadster. Those who opt for the high-performance Roadster Pro will receive their vehicle in 2026.
