On August 20, 2024, the large MPV GAC M8 was officially launched in the Vietnamese market with 3 versions, including the GL Master, GT Master, and GX Master. The corresponding prices of these three versions are 1.699 billion VND, 1.799 billion VND, and 2.199 billion VND, respectively.

It can be seen that the three versions of the GAC M8 differ significantly in terms of selling price. So, how about their equipment? Let’s find out through the following article.

Comparing the equipment of the 3 versions of the GAC M8 exterior

All three versions of the GAC M8 have the same dimensions of 5,212 x 1,940 x 1,823 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. In addition, the ground clearance is 150 mm and the minimum turning radius is 6.1 m. However, the weight of these three versions is different, specifically 2,080 kg for the GL Master, 2,120 kg for the GT Master, and 2,170 kg for the GX Master.

Looking at the exterior, there are not many differences between the three versions of the GAC M8.

The standard exterior equipment of this large MPV in the Vietnamese market includes LED headlights with automatic beam adjustment, turn signal, navigation light, and adaptive function. LED daytime running lights, fog lights, LED taillights, welcome lights for the front/rear, electric/folding mirrors with integrated turn signals and mirror heaters, automatic wipers, and electric sliding doors are also standard across all three versions.

The electric trunk is exclusive to the high-end version of the GAC M8.

Meanwhile, the standard version is equipped with mirrors without memory function, auto-dimming, power tailgate, acoustic windshield, and acoustic glass for the front and second-row windows. The top-of-the-line version also uses 18-inch alloy wheels with a unique design.

The interior of the GAC M8 offers a spacious 3-row, 7-seat cabin. Compared to the exterior, the interior equipment of the three versions shows more significant differences.

Accordingly, all three versions are equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated function buttons, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker audio system, USB Type A/Type C ports in the first row, front seats with heating/cooling functions, second-row seats with heating/cooling/massage functions, a manually adjustable 4-way third-row seat with a 40:60 split, smart key, push-button start, and tri-zone automatic climate control.

The standard version of the GAC M8 features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, leather upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 4-way manually adjustable front passenger seat, and a second-row seat with a 2-way manual slide/recline function, a 2-way power-adjustable backrest, and a 2-way power-adjustable footrest.

On the other hand, the high-end version uses a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, premium leather upholstery, a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with heating/cooling/ventilation functions, a 4-way manually adjustable front headrest, front armrest with cup holders that can keep drinks warm/cool, and a second-row seat with a 2-way power slide/recline function, memory function, a 4-way power-adjustable footrest, a folding table, and sunshades. The third-row armrest, auto-dimming rearview mirror, interior ambient lighting, PM2.5 air filtration system, and in-car fragrance diffuser are also exclusive to the high-end version.
