MG is set to unveil its new ZS crossover on August 28, and ahead of its launch, the Chinese automaker has teased the vehicle with a series of images.

From the shared images, the new MG ZS showcases a grille design similar to the latest MG3 and MG HS. The headlights have also been redesigned for a simpler yet modern look.

The MG ZS features a striking red exterior, a color predicted to be a popular choice in the upcoming market.

Under the hood, the new MG ZS is expected to be powered by a hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 192 hp and 424 Nm of torque. This drivetrain also includes an 18.3 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 3-speed electronic automatic transmission.

Details about the interior of the upcoming MG ZS remain under wraps, but it is expected to mirror the MG 3. This suggests that the 2025 MG ZS could feature a more modern cabin with a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system, complete with satellite navigation and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

The previous-generation MG ZS is currently available in the UK market, starting at $23,900. With the addition of the hybrid powertrain and enhanced features, a slight increase in price can be expected for the new MG ZS.
