A renowned car modification shop in Ho Chi Minh City recently shared photos of a customized VinFast VF 3, sparking excitement among automotive enthusiasts.
The vehicle, bearing the license plate 51L-100.11, is reported to have cost VND 40 million. The plate number not only ends in 11, matching the owner’s phone number, but also features several number 1s, reflecting the owner’s work philosophy.
One of the most expensive modifications on this VF 3 is the pair of seats sourced from the luxurious Mercedes-Benz S63 Coupe. These seats cost a staggering VND 280 million, even surpassing the price of the mini electric car itself. Compared to the original design, the new seats offer a larger, more embracing structure, wrapped in soft leather for a premium feel.
Given their high price tag, it’s no surprise that these seats are packed with amenities, including massage functions, electric adjustments, ventilation, and heating for the ultimate in comfort and convenience.
To date, this is arguably the most extensively modified VinFast VF 3, with no other VF 3 on the market quite like it.
On August 1, 2024, VinFast delivered nearly 100 VF 3s to customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. From now until the end of the year, the company plans to hand over a total of 20,000 vehicles to its eager clients.
The VinFast VF 3 is designed to meet the needs and travel habits of Vietnamese customers. With dimensions of 3,114 x 1,673 x 1,567 mm (length x width x height), it is currently the smallest model in the VinFast lineup.
Powering the VF 3 is an electric motor that produces 43 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 100 km/h when the battery charge is above 50%. On a single charge, it offers a range of approximately 210 km based on the NEDC standard. For quick recharges, it takes just 36 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 70%.
In terms of safety, the VF 3 comes equipped with anti-lock brakes, traction control, hill start assist, and a single airbag.
The VF 3 has a starting price of VND 240 million when leased with a battery and VND 322 million when purchased with a battery included.
