A video of the unboxing of the VF DrgnFly electric bicycle, the first of its kind in Vietnam, has surfaced on social media. The bike belongs to Hoang Touliver, Chairman of SpaceSpeakers Label, and was released for sale just a day prior. With a starting price of VND 29.69 million, the VF DrgnFly is an exciting new offering from VinFast.

Following the US, Vietnam is the second market that VinFast has introduced its ebike model to. With the VF DrgnFly, VinFast completes its range of green mobility solutions, including electric buses, cars, motorcycles, and now bicycles, along with a network of charging stations and service workshops across the country.

The VF DrgnFly has overall dimensions of 1,730 mm in length, 720 mm in width, and 1,056 mm in height, with a seat height of 795 mm and a vehicle weight of 32 kg.

Its design draws inspiration from the Vietnamese cultural icon of a dragon in flight. Featuring a wide handlebar, large tires, and an ergonomic seat, the VF DrgnFly optimizes the riding experience. With its fashionable design, it is the top choice for customers who value individuality, dynamism, and a passion for a green and free-spirited lifestyle.

The VF DrgnFly is equipped with a full LED lighting system, enhancing its aesthetic appeal while ensuring sufficient illumination and safe operation in low-light conditions.

Additionally, VinFast’s electric-assist bicycle features a 50 mm hydraulic shock absorption system, providing stability and a smooth ride for users. The VF DrgnFly is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels for superior stopping power.

The unique body construction, requiring complex manufacturing techniques, boasts a flat aluminum frame that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly durable. This frame design strikes the perfect balance between weight and structural integrity.

The VF DrgnFly integrates a 250W rear-wheel drive, single-speed gearbox, and torque sensor. Equipped with a lithium-ion battery, the bike can travel up to 75 km in pure electric mode and 110 km in power-assist mode on a single charge. Owners can monitor battery status and access various operational data via the monochrome display integrated into the handlebar.

As a smart electric bicycle, the VF DrgnFly offers mobile app connectivity, allowing users to change riding modes, track journeys, and unlock special features directly from their smartphones. Moreover, the ability to update software remotely via OTA ensures that the bike remains optimized for a superior user experience.

Customers have the option to purchase a home charging kit, and the removable battery provides added convenience for charging on the go.

VinFast offers a two-year warranty on the VF DrgnFly, including the battery. During the introductory phase, customers who place a deposit for the bike between August 20 and September 15 will receive official accessories worth VND 2.5 million as a special gift.
