The automotive enthusiast community in Vietnam was recently abuzz with excitement as over 120 luxury and supercars were shipped into the country by air. Among these vehicles, more than 10 have already been unveiled, including a limited-edition Ferrari 812 Competizione.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione, first introduced three years ago, is a more powerful and expensive iteration of the Ferrari 812 Superfast, with only two of its kind currently in Vietnam. Ferrari handpicked 999 customers for this exclusive model, and one of them is the proud owner of the newly imported car.

This particular Ferrari 812 Competizione was flown into Vietnam and will remain in the country for three weeks before joining the Gumball 3000 rally through Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia. It will then conclude its journey in Singapore before being shipped back home.
The supercar boasts a stunning blue exterior with numerous carbon fiber components and a striking yellow stripe that runs from the hood, across the roof, to the rear. It also features carbon fiber wheels with yellow-painted brake calipers and rims.
Compared to the standard model, the Ferrari 812 Competizione is fitted with 20-inch wheels wrapped in 275/35 front and 315/35 rear tires. It also sports a new front air intake and a rearward-swept groove, along with a black carbon fiber plate spanning the hood. Additionally, several exterior components, such as the front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, and air vents, are crafted from carbon fiber to reduce weight.
One notable feature is the absence of a rear window, replaced by an aluminum panel with integrated air vents in the coupe version. Below this is a rear diffuser that spans the width of the car and rectangular exhaust tips instead of the round ones found on the 812 Superfast. These modifications result in a 25% increase in downforce compared to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the interior of the supercar remains largely unchanged from the 812 Superfast.
Under the hood, the Ferrari 812 Competizione is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 818 horsepower, an increase of 30 horsepower compared to the standard model, achieved at 9,250 rpm. It also produces 692 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling the supercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.5 seconds. The top speed remains unchanged at an impressive 340 km/h.
In the Italian market, the Ferrari 812 Competizione is priced at 499,000 Euros (approximately 13.82 billion VND) for the coupe and 578,000 Euros (16 billion VND) for the convertible version.
