The highly anticipated Gumball 3000 rally, which took place in Vietnam on September 14 and 15, 2024, captivated car enthusiasts across the nation. What made this event even more exciting was that it marked the first time the world’s largest supercar rally was held in Southeast Asia, with Ho Chi Minh City chosen as the starting point.

The supercars and luxury vehicles participating in the Gumball 3000 rally were flown into Vietnam and then transported to a warehouse at Tan Son Nhat Airport before being cleared for assembly near District 1.

Are you curious about how these supercars were transported? The photos reveal that they were securely fastened to large pallets and covered with giant plastic tarps to keep them dust-free, forgoing the use of specialized car covers. Nearly ten supercars from around the world have already been spotted in Vietnam.

In our recent articles, we featured a modified Mercedes-Benz E-Class Brabus 800, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS supercar, a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow pickup truck, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, the Rolls-Royce Dawn, the limited-edition Ferrari 812 Competizione (one of only 999 units worldwide), a beautifully wrapped Ferrari 296 GTB, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, the super SUV Lamborghini Urus, and lastly, the Audi RS5.

The lineup for Gumball 3000 also includes two Bugatti Chirons (one being the Chiron Super Sport) belonging to Cambodian tycoons, as well as two other Chirons (one being the Chiron Pur Sport) owned by an American millionaire, despite their absence from the official participant list. Prior to this, the organizers had revealed that these two supercars would be among the first to join the rally.

Additionally, a Koenigsegg Regera owned by an American millionaire, a Pagani Huayra BC owned by a South Korean enthusiast, and a Porsche Carrera GT owned by a Thai tycoon are expected to be highlights of the event. There are also rumors that the organizers will be traveling in a million-dollar Koenigsegg Jesko supercar.
