The all-new Hyundai Alcazar is set to make its debut early next month, featuring a design that is almost entirely different from its predecessor. The vehicle will be offered in four trim levels and can be configured to seat six or seven passengers.
The South Korean automaker, Hyundai, has recently revealed the first images of its CUV Alcazar. This model is primarily sold in the Indian market, positioned below the Tucson in the brand’s lineup, and is considered an extended version of the Creta.
The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar is available in four trim levels: Excutive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. It offers two seating configurations, allowing buyers to choose between six or seven seats.
The new Alcazar shares a similar design with the recently launched Creta facelift in the Indian market. This is most evident in the front end, featuring a large rectangular grille and central air intake. The lighting system has been updated with a two-tier setup, comprising LED daytime running lights on top and main headlights below. Additionally, the daytime running lights extend across the width of the front end.
At the rear, the 2025 Alcazar sports redesigned taillights that form a long, horizontal “H” shape across the tailgate. The rear bumper features a chrome accent with a square design, adding a sporty touch. The vehicle rides on 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and offers a new Robust Emerald Matte green paint option.
While the overall interior design of the new Alcazar remains similar to its predecessor, Hyundai has focused on enhancing safety features and connectivity technology. The 2025 model is equipped with a Level Two ADAS package, providing advanced safety and convenience features.
A standout feature in the Alcazar’s cabin is the dual 10.25-inch screens that combine the instrument cluster and infotainment system. Other notable equipment includes ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, and wireless phone charging.
In terms of safety, the Alcazar boasts six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a 360-degree camera. It also includes an ADAS package similar to the Creta, featuring adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
Under the hood, the new Hyundai Alcazar offers two engine options. The first is a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 160 horsepower and 256 Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission. The second option is an 116-horsepower diesel engine generating 250 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar is scheduled to make its official debut on September 9. Dealers in the Indian market have already started accepting pre-orders for this model.
