According to dealership sales consultants, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe will be officially launched in Vietnam around September or October this year. Prior to this, dealers are still actively discounting the previous-generation Hyundai Santa Fe to clear inventory.

As a result, a dealership in Hanoi is offering the Hyundai Santa Fe at a price of under VND 940 million for the base gasoline model, VND 1.028 billion for the base diesel model, VND 1.1 billion for the premium gasoline model, and VND 1.18 billion for the premium diesel model. This means that compared to the listed price, the previous-generation Santa Fe is now VND 39-60 million cheaper at dealerships.

Version Listed Price Dealership Discounted Price Discount Amount

It’s important to note that the discounted previous-generation Hyundai Santa Fe models at dealerships have limited quantities and color options. However, for those who prefer the Santa Fe diesel, this is a great opportunity to get a good deal. This is because the new generation model is expected to discontinue the diesel engine option.

The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe in Vietnam is expected to discontinue the diesel engine.

It is predicted that the Vietnam-spec Hyundai Santa Fe will offer two engine options, similar to the new Santa Fe in the Philippines. The first is a 2.5L Theta III gasoline engine with four cylinders, producing a maximum output of 194 horsepower and a peak torque of 246 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The second engine option is a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum output of 281 horsepower and a peak torque of 422 Nm. This engine is mated to an 8-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

The discontinuation of the diesel engine option may cause the Hyundai Santa Fe to lose a competitive advantage. In the Vietnamese market, the Santa Fe diesel has been a popular choice.

In addition to the new engines, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe also features a complete design overhaul. The exterior styling adopts a more angular and boxy SUV design language, reminiscent of the luxurious Range Rover.

The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe features a significant design change.

The 2025 Santa Fe showcases a prominent “H” design theme with new LED daytime running lights that double as turn signals, a redesigned front bumper, and “H” motifs on the rear lights, air vents, and embroidered and embossed patterns on the seats. Notable features include LED lighting, up to 21-inch alloy wheels, hidden door handles integrated into the C-pillars, and a spacious 725-liter trunk.

Inside, occupants are greeted by a digital cockpit that combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a matching 12.3-inch central touchscreen infotainment system. Other highlights include an electronic gear selector behind the steering wheel, a 6.6-inch touchscreen for climate control, two wireless charging pads, a digital rearview mirror, multi-color ambient lighting, a fingerprint scanner, digital locks, a Bose sound system, and a UV-C sterilizing glovebox.

Similar to its predecessor, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe will continue to be locally assembled in Vietnam.
